From the city lights to the desert stars: Brewing Joy in Moab, Utah

As a family-run mobile coffee catering business, our adventures often take us to unique and beautiful places—but our recent trip from Las Vegas to Moab, Utah for a wedding was one for the books.

We hit the road together as a family, and the drive itself was breathtaking. Watching the desert slowly transform into stunning red rock formations was like witnessing nature paint a masterpiece in real time. With every mile, the anticipation grew—not just for the wedding, but for the memories we knew we were about to create.

The venue in Moab was absolutely gorgeous. Nestled among towering cliffs and framed by vibrant red sandstone, it provided a picture-perfect backdrop for the ceremony. My wife and oldest daughter, who are the heart and soul behind our espresso bar at events, took the reins that evening. Guests were treated to expertly crafted lattes, cappuccinos, and cold brews—all served with our signature warmth and a personal touch.

While they worked their magic behind the cart, my youngest daughter and I took the opportunity to explore Moab. The small town charm, endless outdoor adventures, and friendly locals made our father-daughter time truly special.

On the morning of the wedding, Jackie and I woke up early to visit the downtown area. We stumbled upon a local spot called Doughbird, known for its fresh donuts and great coffee. It was a quiet, cozy moment before the day kicked into full swing—and definitely a nice start.

After the wedding conclued, we decided to stay an extra day to soak in everything Moab had to offer. To start, we spent the morning creating pottery art together. In the afternoon we hiked through the iconic Arches National Park, where the natural rock formations left us in awe.

After a quick break back at the hotel room we ended the day with sunset off-road Hummer tour on the infamous Hell’s Revenge trail—an experience that had us gripping our seats and laughing the whole way to an unforgettable weekend.

Even with all the exploring and coffee-making, I managed to sneak in a solid workout at the hotel gym—keeping up with my routine even on the road.

Events like this remind us why we started this business: not just to serve great coffee, but to connect with amazing people and experience life together as a family. Whether it’s behind the espresso machine or hiking through Aches national park, we’re always ready for the next adventure.
